  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—legal, security, product, and operations—to interpret privacy requirements and translate them into actionable data handling procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits of data repositories, flagging inconsistencies, gaps, or potential breaches and recommending remediation steps.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of data flows, privacy impact assessments, and incident response activities.
  • Provide clear, concise communication to stakeholders at all levels, tailoring technical explanations to non‑technical audiences.
  • Assist in the evaluation and integration of privacy‑focused vendor solutions, tools, and platforms.
  • Stay current on emerging privacy legislation (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, LGPD) and industry best practices, proactively advising the organization on necessary adjustments.
  • Support the development and delivery of internal training materials on data protection and privacy awareness.
  • Participate in incident response drills and contribute to the continuous improvement of arenaflex’s cybersecurity posture.

Essential Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a data‑centric or privacy‑focused role within a technology‑driven environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Data Protection & Privacy regulations across local, national, and international contexts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Reliability and punctuality—consistent attendance is a core expectation for this remote position.

Preferred Qualifications (What Sets You Apart)

  • Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or Security+.
  • Hands‑on experience with privacy‑focused vendor tools, data loss prevention (DLP) solutions, and encryption technologies.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, security engineering principles, and cryptographic key management.
  • Ability to interpret non‑compliance findings and assess their impact on risk levels and overall security program effectiveness.
  • Experience conducting privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and supporting regulatory audits.
  • Familiarity with incident response frameworks and the ability to contribute to real‑time breach investigations.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical mindset: Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot anomalies in large data sets.
  • Communication: Clear, concise writing and speaking skills, with an emphasis on translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working with remote, cross‑functional teams across multiple time zones.
  • Problem‑solving: Proactive approach to identifying risks and proposing practical, scalable solutions.
