Senior Remote Data Analytics Manager – Advanced Data Entry, Business Intelligence & Insight Leadership at arenaflex
About arenaflex – Pioneering the Future of Flight
arenaflex is a global leader in the aviation industry, committed to connecting people, places, and possibilities across the world. With a legacy of innovation that spans decades, arenaflex operates a vast network of routes, serving millions of passengers each year while maintaining a relentless focus on safety, sustainability, and customer delight. Our mission—Connecting People, Connecting the World—goes beyond moving passengers from point A to point B; it’s about creating opportunities, fostering economic growth, and delivering experiences that inspire.
As part of our ambitious growth strategy, arenaflex is expanding its data‑driven capabilities to unlock new efficiencies, enhance operational performance, and deliver richer insights to decision‑makers. We are looking for a visionary Data Analytics Manager who can lead a high‑performing team, translate complex data into actionable intelligence, and drive continuous improvement across our digital platforms.
Why This Role Is a Game‑Changer
This is not a typical data entry position. It is an advanced, strategic role that sits at the intersection of data engineering, business intelligence, and operational excellence. You will partner directly with the Digital Channels, Personalization, and Loyalty Innovation teams, shaping the way arenaflex leverages data to power next‑generation customer experiences, optimize flight operations, and support enterprise‑wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Integration & Modeling: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines that ingest, cleanse, and transform data from multiple sources—including flight operations, customer interaction platforms, and loyalty programs—into a unified analytics ecosystem.
- Advanced Analytics & Insight Generation: Conduct deep‑dive analyses to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies that impact operational performance, revenue, and customer satisfaction. Translate findings into clear, data‑driven recommendations for senior leadership.
- Dashboard & Reporting Development: Build and maintain enterprise‑wide BI dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Tibco Spotfire, etc.) that provide real‑time visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time performance, revenue per available seat mile (RASM), and loyalty program engagement.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between the Data Analytics team and cross‑functional partners (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance). Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and ensure alignment on data‑driven objectives.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve data quality. Lead initiatives to implement automated monitoring, alerting, and error‑handling mechanisms.
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, mentor, and grow a diverse team of data analysts, engineers, and scientists. Foster a culture of curiosity, continuous learning, and collaborative problem‑solving.
- Technology Evaluation & Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Redshift, Palantir Foundry) and recommend strategic investments that align with arenaflex’s long‑term data strategy.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all data handling practices comply with industry regulations, privacy standards, and internal governance policies.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field. A graduate degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience as a Data Analyst, Business Insight Engineer, or a comparable analytical role, with at least 1 year in a managerial capacity leading data‑focused teams.
- Industry Exposure: At least 2 years of experience working within a Fortune 500 organization, preferably in the aviation, transportation, or large‑scale consumer services sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in BI dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau, Tibco Spotfire) and strong SQL skills (both relational and non‑relational databases). Experience with data‑visualization, data‑modeling, and performance monitoring tools (DataDog, AppDynamics, Kibana) is required.
- Analytical Acumen: Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, design data solutions, and deliver actionable insights that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Leadership & Communication: Proven track record of influencing senior executives (MD, VP level), articulating a clear vision, and motivating cross‑functional teams to achieve strategic goals.
- Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty, or Palantir Foundry certifications.

- Familiarity with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter) and web‑application monitoring suites.
- Exposure to machine learning pipelines, natural language processing (NLP), and AI‑driven analytics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala for data manipulation and statistical modeling.
- Experience with data‑governance frameworks and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
