[Remote] SAP FICO Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EPAM Systems is on a journey to become the world's leading provider of advanced manufacturing services, and they are seeking a SAP FICO Consultant to join their team. In this role, you will design, implement, and refine SAP solutions that support business strategies and operational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and conduct gap analysis by running workshops, reviewing business processes, and mapping them to SAP functionalities
- Prepare detailed functional specifications and testing plans, and coordinate user acceptance testing with business experts
- Present proposed SAP solutions to the design committee for validation and approval
- Oversee the configuration and rollout of SAP FICO modules to ensure successful delivery
- Advise stakeholders on leveraging SAP standard functionalities and minimizing the need for custom solutions
- Build and maintain interfaces between SAP and external systems
- Collaborate with SAP developers to deliver custom code solutions when required
- Participate in SAP-related initiatives, including new implementations, system upgrades, enhancements, and application extensions
- Partner with cross-functional and cross-application teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience configuring SAP FICO modules
- Background in product costing across repetitive, discrete, and process manufacturing environments
- Comprehensive knowledge of how FICO integrates with SD, MM, and PP modules
- Showcase of involvement in multiple SAP projects, including full-cycle implementations in finance and controlling
- Participation in at least 2 complete SAP implementation cycles
- Capability to assess the impact of changes across various SAP modules and processes
- Capability to support both business and IT objectives
- Proficiency in working within dynamic environments with shifting priorities
- Experience collaborating across multicultural teams
- Understanding of SDLC and SAP project methodologies
- Motivation to stay current with the latest SAP technology trends
- Skills in verbal and written communication for effective teamwork and documentation
- Minimum English language level of B1+
