[Remote] Content Developer

The Sage Group is seeking a strategic, hands-on Portfolio Content Manager to shape and execute content for an AI-powered benefits and PEO solution. This role involves owning content strategy and creation across various channels, translating complex ideas into clear, engaging content, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality output.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a content strategy aligned with business goals, audience priorities, and product positioning
- Create, write, and edit content across blogs, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and related thought leadership channels
- Own content execution from planning through publication, including editorial calendar management
- Translate complex product, benefits, and workforce topics into clear, engaging market-facing content
- Use AI and LLM tools to support research, ideation, drafting, and content optimization
- Apply strong judgment to ensure all content is accurate, relevant, high quality, and aligned with brand voice
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop timely, differentiated content
- Support messaging for a solution-oriented offering at the intersection of AI, benefits, and PEO services
- Review performance and engagement data to refine content direction and improve results over time
Skills
- 10+ years' experience develop content and strategy in one or more relevant sectors such as healthcare, consulting, compensation, benefits, HR, or professional services
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create concise, engaging content for different audiences and platforms
- Hands-on experience using AI and LLM tools within content workflows, paired with strong human judgment
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality work in a part-time structure
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing business needs
- Experience supporting thought leadership or go-to-market content for consultative or complex solutions is a plus
