Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Experience Banker at arenaflex, your primary focus will be on providing outstanding customer service, identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships, and recommending suitable banking products and services. Your duties will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Being proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products, including checking and savings accounts, credit cards, and loans
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners
  • Educating and referring customers to other areas of arenaflex to deepen relationships and build a strong partnership
  • Adhering to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize risk
  • Demonstrating acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management to support the team and achieve business objectives

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or marketing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • A strong understanding of banking products and services, including consumer deposit products and credit cards
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • 1 year or more of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales
  • Cash handling skills and experience with point-of-sale systems
  • Comfort with technology, including mobile services and online banking services
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing customer relationships
