Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Your primary responsibilities will include working with customers face-to-face, assisting with product selection, handling customer transactions, and providing timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries and concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective and efficient handling of customer transactions, including processing sales orders, handling payments, and coordinating deliveries.
  • Accurately record and maintain customer contact information and details, utilizing our customer relationship management system.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships on behalf of arenaflex, through excellent communication, active listening, and a customer-focused approach.
  • Handle inbound sales calls and initiate outbound sales calls as necessary, to drive sales growth and meet customer needs.
  • Consistently follow up on commitments made to customers in a timely manner, to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor stock levels to facilitate effective handling of customer orders, and collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Assist customers in determining their order requirements and needed services, providing expert advice and guidance on arenaflex products and services.
  • Appropriately identify and escalate any customer issues as they arise, to ensure prompt resolution and minimize customer dissatisfaction.
  • Provide price quotes, credit terms, and process sales orders accurately, utilizing our sales and customer relationship management systems.
  • Process sales transactions and handle payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with arenaflex policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate trucking and delivery of materials to customers based on delivery schedules, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and services.
  • Create shipping orders and packing lists as needed, to facilitate smooth delivery and minimize errors.
  • Address any customer issues that may arise during the delivery process, to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide support to the Sales Representatives as needed, to drive sales growth and meet customer needs.
  • Demonstrate a customer-focused approach, effective collaboration, and clear communication within the team, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of arenaflex products and services, to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
  • Perform any additional duties as required or requested, to support the sales team and drive business growth.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Education Required, with some college work completed preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.
  • Clear communication with the ability to use positive language, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Attentiveness, with the ability to actively listen to customers and respond to their needs.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks at once, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Goal-oriented focus, with a strong commitment to meeting sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Good mathematical skills, with the ability to do calculations quickly and accurately.
  • Demonstrated experience with the use of PCs, along with the ability to navigate in a multi-window based environment.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, with a hourly rate of $18 to $21 per hour, and overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate.
