About arenaflex – Pioneering Healthcare Process Automation

arenaflex is a market‑leading provider of healthcare process automation and interoperability solutions. Our mission is to transform the way health‑care organizations manage, share, and act on data by leveraging intelligent automation, machine learning, and industry‑best practices. Every day, we help hospitals, clinics, insurers, and health‑tech partners improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver a superior experience to patients and providers alike. At arenaflex, innovation is not a buzzword—it is the engine that drives every project, every team, and every career.

Why This Role Matters

The Data Entry Specialist position sits at the heart of arenaflex’s commitment to data integrity. Accurate, timely, and secure data entry is the foundation upon which our automation platforms build insights, predictive models, and compliance reports. By joining our team, you will directly influence the quality of the information that powers critical decision‑making for thousands of health‑care professionals. Your meticulous work will help ensure that confidential patient information remains protected, that operational workflows run smoothly, and that our clients experience measurable improvements in efficiency and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data with precision into the arenaxClaim system (our proprietary claims processing platform) using scanned images, PDFs, and other source documents.
  • Identify, categorize, and tag document types (e.g., medical records, billing statements, eligibility forms) according to established taxonomy.
  • Perform a thorough quality‑check on each entry, verifying that all fields meet or exceed arenaflex’s stringent accuracy standards.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI) in full compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal data‑security policies.
  • Collaborate with teammates, supervisors, and cross‑functional partners to resolve data ambiguities, clarify source material, and streamline workflows.
  • Proactively suggest and document process improvements that enhance speed, reduce errors, and support scalability.
  • Complete daily assignment quotas, while remaining flexible to assist with additional office duties such as data audits, training sessions, or system testing.
  • Participate in periodic knowledge‑share meetings to stay current on evolving industry standards, regulatory updates, and arenaflex product enhancements.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated self‑motivation and a strong work ethic, with a track record of meeting or exceeding productivity targets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail; ability to spot inconsistencies, missing fields, or formatting errors that could impact downstream analytics.
  • Proven multitasking capability—comfortably manage multiple data streams while maintaining focus and accuracy.
  • Quick learning aptitude; ability to absorb new instructions, software interfaces, and documentation guidelines with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to safeguarding client data; understanding of HIPAA privacy rules and a willingness to adhere to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Fluent English reading and speaking skills; clear written communication for documenting issues and providing feedback.
  • Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute with a minimum 95 % accuracy rate, and a keystroke rate of 4,500 characters per hour at 95 % accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications & Nice‑to‑Have Skills

  • Prior experience in a health‑care data entry, medical billing, or claims processing environment.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, health‑information exchanges, or similar platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD‑10, CPT), and insurance claim structures.
  • Experience working remotely or in a hybrid office setting, demonstrating disciplined time management and reliable internet connectivity.
  • Exposure to data‑validation tools, OCR software, or automated data‑capture technologies.
  • Certification in health‑information management (RHIA, RHIT) or related fields.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Rigor: Ability to interpret source documents, extract relevant data points, and ensure logical consistency across records.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating web‑based interfaces, spreadsheets, and custom arenaflex applications.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and professional interaction with teammates, supervisors, and occasional external stakeholders.
  • Problem‑Solving: Initiative to identify root causes of data discrepancies and propose actionable solutions.
  • Time Management: Efficiently prioritize tasks to meet daily and weekly volume targets without sacrificing quality.
  • Adaptability: Openness to evolving processes, new software releases, and shifting business priorities.

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

arenaflex invests heavily in the professional development of its employees. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will have access to a robust learning ecosystem that includes:

  • Mentorship pairings with experienced analysts who can guide you toward more advanced roles such as Data Quality Analyst, Claims Auditor, or Process Automation Specialist.
  • Tuition reimbursement for relevant certifications or coursework (e.g., Certified Health Data Analyst, Lean Six Sigma).
  • Opportunities to participate in cross‑functional projects, giving you exposure to product development, client implementation, and strategic planning.

By excelling in this role, you position yourself for upward mobility within arenaflex’s fast‑growing data‑operations division, where pathways to supervisory, analytical, and technical leadership positions are clearly defined.
