Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Entry: Input data from a continuous stream of scanned images into the QuickClaim system with precision and speed.
  • Document Classification: Identify and categorize document types based on provided guidelines, ensuring each file is routed correctly.
  • Quality Assurance: Review entered data against quality standards, correcting errors and confirming that information meets or exceeds accuracy thresholds.
  • HIPAA Compliance: Safeguard all Personal Health Information (PHI) by following strict confidentiality protocols and industry‑mandated security practices.
  • Collaboration: Communicate professionally with teammates, supervisors, and cross‑functional staff to resolve ambiguities and improve processes.
  • Process Improvement: Offer suggestions for workflow enhancements, automation opportunities, and best‑practice refinements.
  • Task Completion: Manage daily workload efficiently, ensuring all assigned tasks are finished before the end of your shift.
  • General Office Support: Perform additional administrative duties as needed, such as filing, data retrieval, and basic reporting.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated self‑motivation and a strong work ethic, with the ability to thrive in a remote setting.
  • Proven multitasking capabilities; you can handle multiple data streams without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Exceptional focus and the ability to stay on‑task for extended periods.
  • High attention to detail while maintaining efficient throughput.

  • Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of client data in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Fluent English reading and speaking skills.
  • Typing proficiency: minimum 50 words per minute with at least 95% accuracy.
  • Keyboard proficiency: minimum 4,500 keystrokes per hour with at least 95% accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Prior experience in healthcare data entry, medical billing, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems or claim processing platforms.
  • Basic understanding of HIPAA privacy and security rules.
  • Experience working with remote teams and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technology stacks and automation tools.

Compensation, Schedule, and Benefits

Hourly Rate: $12 per hour.

Work Schedule: Both part‑time and full‑time positions are available, with a minimum requirement of 20 hours per week. Preferred full‑time availability. Shifts run between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday.
