Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive delivery plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, with a focus on reporting progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Preparing project updates and presentations for leadership, facilitating content review during large stakeholder engagements, and ensuring effective communication channels are maintained.
  • Utilizing effective change management techniques to minimize resistance, maximize adoption, and generate support for new processes, technologies, and strategies across the organization.
  • Maintaining effective communication channels that allow for a supportive feedback process, ensuring that stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned with project goals and objectives.
  • Partnering with internal finance teams to establish, maintain, and report on project spend, ensuring that financial management is integrated into project planning and execution.
  • Using data to define project baselines, measure outcomes, share insights, and prioritize delivery, with a focus on driving business value and ROI.
  • Practicing agility by continuously evaluating delivery to maintain focus on the highest value drivers for the organization, with a commitment to lean principles and continuous improvement.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT leaders, business partners, and team members across the company, with a focus on collaboration, trust, and mutual respect.
  • Positively influencing stakeholders on the transformation strategy by managing expectations, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment to the transformation goals, with a focus on effective communication, active listening, and stakeholder engagement.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
  • At least 3 years of progressive broad-based information systems and business experience, with a focus on IT project management, agile methodologies, and leadership.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing and delivering mission-critical, high-availability large and small IT development projects using structured project management and system development methodologies, such as Agile/Scrum.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Agile methods and mindset as an approach to software development, with a focus on lean principles, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity.
  • At least 5 years of progressive broad-based information systems and business experience, with a focus on IT project management, agile methodologies, and leadership.
