Position: Field Service Technician - Arizona, Remote (Company Vehicle & Benefits Day 1) Field Service Technician - Arizona, Remote (Company Vehicle & Benefits Day 1) Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the Field Service Technician is responsible for conducting service, repair, and start-up of Trojan’s advanced water treatment systems at customer sites. With a strong emphasis on water quality, the Field Service Technician performs electrical and mechanical testing, diagnoses system failures, and assists customers in the maintenance of their UV systems. This role is critical in ensuring the successful completion of existing and new service contracts while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. This position is part of the North America Service team located in Arizona and will be remote. In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Cultivate key customer relationships to interpret their needs and requirements
  • Utilize fellow team members to efficiently and effectively service customers
  • Support customers from startup through the purchase of their next Trojan system
  • Solve problems, evaluate systems and/or processes to isolate root causes, and implement corrective actions as required
  • Bring unique solutions as needed to meet customer requirements and drive product improvements
  • Travel approximately 80% to 90% of the time within the U.S., with occasional travel to Canada. You will be provided a company vehicle and may travel within the territory by vehicle or by plane, staying in company-approved hotels to ensure safety while supporting customers

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 3 to 5 years of Field Service experience
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and P&
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Sales, and Operations to resolve site-specific issues
  • Previous experience traveling for work
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid passport to travel to Canada

Preferred qualifications

  • Working with PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley, WAGO, and Siemens
  • Familiarity with gates and actuators
  • Knowledge of water treatment plant processes
  • LEAN thinking principles to enhance customer maintenance programs
  • Experience working with external Contractors and Engineers
