[Remote] VP of Sales

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Storm4 is a high-growth AI energy intelligence platform serving various sectors across North America. The Vice President of Sales will lead the commercial organization, focusing on revenue generation, strategic customer acquisition, and commercial planning to support the company's growth and presence in the energy market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy across utilities, energy providers, data centres, renewable developers, and large energy consumers
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through negotiation and close
  • Build strategic relationships with key customers and partners across the North American energy ecosystem
  • Own revenue generation, forecasting, pipeline development, and commercial performance
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to align customer needs with product development and market expansion
  • Build and scale a high-performing sales organisation to support continued growth

Skills

  • 12+ years of enterprise sales experience with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership position
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets within SaaS, AI, data, analytics, or energy technology businesses
  • Experience selling complex software, analytics, or platform solutions into utilities, energy markets, infrastructure, or industrial sectors
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and long buying processes
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage senior decision-makers and strategic customers
  • Experience building and managing high-performing commercial teams
  • Experience selling into utilities, IPPs, renewable developers, energy traders, data centres, or large C&I customers
  • Background in energy analytics, forecasting, grid intelligence, energy management, or energy market software
  • Experience scaling commercial teams within high-growth or venture-backed businesses
  • Existing relationships across the North American energy ecosystem
