We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Benefits Specialist to join our American Airlines family. As a key member of our Benefits Team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing global health and wellness programs for our international employees. Job Summary:

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis, recommending global health and wellness programs, and collaborating with local HR and Specialty units to provide benefits and voluntary contributions. You will also assess the effectiveness of vendor services, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead the implementation of strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with local HR and Specialty units to provide health and wellness programs for international employees
• Manage global consulting and employee activities supporting international benefits
• Assess vendor services, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead the implementation of strategic plans
• Administer vendor compliance and ensure all service administrative requirements are managed within the policy and procedure guidelines
• Develop and coordinate wellness activities for international employees

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience/training
• Experience gathering and analyzing data to identify trends
• Preferred: Advanced knowledge of health benefits industry trends, regulations, and best practices
• Related experience with global benefit plans, including voluntary programs
• Skills, licenses, and certifications: Knowledge of comprehensive benefits, including self-funded and fully insured benefit plans, and experience with voluntary and wellness programs
