Part-Time Education Program Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Education Program Assistant to support our Family Services program at Fendall Street in SE Washington, DC. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing assistance with youth programming and educational activities for children aged 5-16 years old.

About the Role
- Provide assistance with youth programming and educational activities for children aged 5-16 years old
- Lead youth through SOME Place for Kids activities in after-school programs
- Collaborate with the Youth Services Coordinator and staff to develop and implement programs
- Assist in developing communications to promote programs and communicate with students and parents
- Purchase supplies, assist with tutoring activities, and develop monthly activities calendars
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of experience in education or social services
- Experience providing education/tutoring services to children
- CPR/First-Aid and CPR for Infants certification
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
