Math Intervention Teacher (Part-Time) - Make a Difference in Students' Lives

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Math Teacher to join our team at Catapult Learning, a leading provider of K-12 contracted instructional services. As a Math Intervention Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping middle school students (grades 6-8) achieve academic success in math through small group instruction and intervention. This part-time opportunity is perfect for educators who are looking to make a positive impact on students' lives and are available to work after regular school hours (Monday - Thursday, 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm) in Hapeville, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver math instruction to small groups of students in a face-to-face school setting, focusing on intervention and support
• Utilize company-provided curriculum and materials to develop and maintain individualized lesson plans
• Supervise students at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records, including student attendance and progress reports
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and company supervisors to ensure student success
• Participate in paid training and planning sessions to enhance instructional skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education or a related field
• GA Teaching Certificate or equivalent preferred
• Classroom teaching, internship, or tutoring experience
• Strong knowledge of math concepts and instructional strategies
• Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
