Key Responsibilities:

• Teach assigned classes using the educational philosophy and policies adopted by the Board of Education
• Utilize State and District curriculum guidelines to plan and implement a program of study that meets students' needs, interests, and abilities
• Identify students with special learning problems and take appropriate action to support their development
• Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues to promote students' academic and behavioral progress
• Maintain accurate records, make reports as necessary, and pursue opportunities for professional growth

Requirements:

• Middle Level Math certification or eligibility for State of Delaware Certification
• Ability to stand and work continuously for a minimum of 4 hours per workday
• Minimum lifting requirements: 50 pounds (with assistance)
• Ability to use arms and hands without restrictions to accommodate the physical, mobility, and ambulatory needs of students
