Staff Content Designer - Remote Opportunity with Netflix in Salt Lake City

As a Staff Content Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the content vision and strategy for our Happy and Business Products (CBP) group, leveraging your expertise in storytelling, technology, and business to deliver exceptional results.

In this unique and exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and business, helping to set and elevate the content design vision and strategy for our CBP group. Your responsibilities will include coordinating item voice, defining copy style and tone, creating UI content for diverse audiences, and developing best practices into guidelines that can scale.

About You

• You're a natural storyteller with the ability to craft and coordinate compelling stories across multiple touchpoints, both within the product and in training and business settings.
• You're a systems thinker with a deep understanding of information architecture, language structures, and design systems.
• You're a product expert who is comfortable with optimizing and finding creative solutions, driving alignment and collaboration with cross-functional partners across design, engineering, and product to define a strong value proposition for a specific audience.
• You have a keen sense of empathy for the filmmaking industry and a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest trends and developments.
• You communicate proactively and are open to pushing for your perspective in our honest, feedback-driven culture.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant writing experience: UX writing, content strategy, customer-centered copywriting, short-form digital.
• Experience working on a product design or UX team, and with global brands.
• Mastery of AP style and the confidence to know when to break the rules.
• Ability to think about customer journeys and content streams, and to draw meaningful conclusions about them.
• Demonstrable creativity, ability to navigate ambiguity, and highly collaborative and independent.
• Proficiency in languages other than English and experience in the world of filmmaking are a plus.
