Pharmacy Billing Representative - Hybrid Remote Opportunity in Monroeville, PA

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Billing Representative to join our team in Monroeville, PA. As a Pharmacy Billing Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliant, timely, and accurate billing practices, while providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and stakeholders.

As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a flexible, hybrid remote work arrangement, with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM EST, and a flexible start time after training. You will also receive competitive compensation, with a pay range of $17.00 - $28.46 per hour, and eligibility for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Qualifying, preparing, and submitting claims to Copay Assistance programs
• Working with pharmacy operations staff, prescriber offices, third-party payers, patients, and claim processors to resolve billing issues
• Following processes to assist with processing, insurance verification, authorization, revenue cycle management, compliance, and documentation
• Providing exceptional customer service and issue resolution to patients and stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare reimbursement, medical insurance/billing, or a related field
• Customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to live within a 1-hour commute of the Monroeville, PA office

Preferred qualifications include:

• Ability to prioritize daily tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare reimbursement systems
• Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification
