We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team at Childcare Network, a renowned provider of early childhood education. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters the cognitive, social, and emotional development of our children.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in maintaining a safe, warm, and inviting classroom environment that is clean and organized
• Communicate daily with families regarding student progress or needs, encouraging partnership and support
• Develop strong professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to encourage parent and community engagement
• Maintain high-quality standards of care for every child, adhering to minimum licensing, quality rated, and/or accreditation guidelines and company standards
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children, utilizing our science-based, proprietary curriculum and suggested supplement activities
• Keep daily records, including attendance, child portfolios, USDA documentation, and other records required by local agencies
• Contribute to the center's success by partnering with team members and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditations, and family engagement

Requirements

• Genuine warmth and understanding of the needs of young children and their families
• Positive attitude and self-image, with a commitment to innovation and creativity
• Strong communication skills with coworkers, parents, and children
• HS Diploma or GED required, with a willingness to learn and grow
• Must pass the state-required criminal background check
