Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor

Join Our Vibrant Community: Become a Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor with the City of Blue Ash, Ohio! We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to teach group fitness classes and build a clientele as a personal trainer within our state-of-the-art fitness facility. As a key member of our Recreation Department team, you will play a vital role in driving success and promoting a healthy lifestyle among our community members.

In this exciting and rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to plan and teach at least two fitness classes on a weekly basis, provide supervision and instruction during classes, and assist with day-to-day operations of the fitness center. You will also have the chance to build your own clientele as a personal trainer, working with individuals to achieve their fitness goals.

Competitive Compensation Package:

• Salary: $14.82 to $17.23 per hour for group fitness classes and $35.00 to $65.00 per hour for personal training sessions

Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Nationally recognized personal training certification
• Positive customer service skills and ability to interact with patrons
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift heavy weights
• Punctuality and ability to attend all in-service training
• Ability to work a varied shift, including daytime hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
