With over $200M ARR and rapid growth, we're seeking a talented Senior Commercial Counsel to join our expanding legal team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in driving business success in the Western Region of the US, focusing on Enterprise deals and supporting our Area Directors and their teams.

About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you'll leverage your exceptional negotiation skills to lead legal discussions with customers, provide guidance on transactions, and shape initiatives to streamline our contracting process. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating complex SaaS agreements, amendments, and order forms with enterprise customers. Key Responsibilities

• Independently lead legal negotiations with customers and provide guidance on various transactions
• Support two to three Area Directors and their teams in the Western Region of the US
• Shape key initiatives to streamline AuditBoard's contracting process as the company scales
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, information security, and executives

Requirements

• 8+ years of in-house transactional experience with direct interaction with customers, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders
• 5+ years of experience negotiating SaaS agreements, amendments, and order forms with enterprise customers
• Understanding of the full contract lifecycle from NDA to internal approvals through conclusion of signature process
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence
