We're looking for a talented and experienced artist who can develop character art for style guides and portfolios across multiple properties and divisions, generate ideas for franchise expansion, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the marketplace. Responsibilities

• Develop character art for style guides and portfolios across multiple properties and divisions
• Generate ideas for franchise expansion and contribute to new product ideas
• Attend key shows and exhibitions to stay current with marketplace trends and product development techniques
• Maintain high character art standards and develop a strong character art community across Global Product Creation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring Disney characters and stories to life in innovative and engaging ways

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, character art illustration, or merchandise design
• 2+ years of related work experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your artistic skills and style
• Extensive knowledge of character art, cartooning, and cartoon animation principles
• Strong traditional and digital drawing skills, as well as concepting and creative computer skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Creative Suite, Keynote)
• Pro-active and can-do attitude, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
