Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Sr. Remote Sensing Engineer supporting technical GEOINT analysis for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) at Wright Patterson AFB. You will be working closely with a team of Riverside Research, government, military, and contractor personnel using GEOINT data sources for scientific and technical intelligence research in the advancement of the GEOINT mission. This work is in support of DoD and Intelligence Community program requirements.
Responsibilities
- Process and exploit GEOINT data from remote sensing data sources
- Independent verification and validation of GEOINT algorithms and tools
- Translate operational needs into technical requirements; prepare supporting documentation
- Identify workflow processes that can be automated or improved; document and implement process improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or comparable technical degree
- 12 years of experience working with overhead GEOINT imagery data
- Experience with common remote sensing imagery data formats
- Demonstrated proficiency processing and analyzing GEOINT dat
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or comparable technical degree
- Experience with Full-Motion Video (FMV) sensors and data
- Experience with camera models and image simulation software
- Language coding skills in Python, IDL, Matlab, or C++
