About the position The Senior Product Manager for Virtual Network Services at Verizon is responsible for overseeing the development and commercialization of advanced networking solutions, including SD-WAN and SASE technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to drive product innovation and align with market demands. The position involves providing technical expertise, developing product strategies, and ensuring successful product launches to meet business objectives and customer needs. Responsibilities • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide industry expertise for SD-WAN, SASE, and other VNS product development and distribution. , • Understand market trends and drivers of next-generation network and security needs, working closely with engineering teams to support product line development and enhancements. , • Demonstrate in-depth understanding and passion for network business and previous working background in network technology and/or services. , • Provide technical expertise to support multiple product managers in defining product strategy and developing product roadmaps for the VNS portfolio. , • Develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and lead technical discussions on Managed Enterprise network services and various SD-WAN vendors. , • Ensure communication with leadership and provide regular updates to executives on future industry trends and current product development. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. , • Six or more years of relevant work experience in Virtual Network Service, advanced networking, or telecommunications products. , • Experience working with engineering teams for new products and existing product enhancements. , • Must have both a technical and commercial understanding of the network business. , • Deep data and analytic orientation for evidence-based decision making. Nice-to-haves • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent field. , • Understanding of Verizon domestic and global product offerings across MNS and SD-WAN portfolio. , • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and motivating them to excel in uncertain circumstances. , • Experience providing support to product management and engineering teams in multiple regions. , • Experience prioritizing and executing multiple projects simultaneously. , • Passion and determination to make a difference in the communications industry.
