Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Manage and update electronic health records (EHR)
• Assist with telemedicine consultations by gathering patient histories and vitals
• Answer patient inquiries via phone, email, or chat
• Coordinate prescription refills and medication reminders
• Handle medical billing, insurance verification, and claims processing
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Provide follow-up support and patient education

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required); Medical Assistant certification (Preferred)
• Experience: 1+ years in a medical assistant or healthcare administrative role (Remote experience is a plus)
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and Microsoft Office/Google Suite
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Other Requirements: Reliable internet connection, HIPAA compliance training (preferred)

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $45.00 - $50.00/hour.
