LBS Sr. Purchasing Specialist - Remote

Position Summary The Senior Specialist, Purchasing is responsible for order creation from requisitions specific to a group of suppliers and categories. This position also collaborates with suppliers to resolve backorders and other order-related issues.
Responsibilities
- Create purchase orders from requisitions for a designated group of suppliers and categories
- Monitor order transmission and confirmations
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve backorders and order issues
- Process order amendments and updates as needed
- Support supplier inquiries related to order processing
- Respond to site-specific inquiries on order status and resolution
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned
