Warehouse Operations Associate - DHL Overview of the position:As a Warehouse Operations Associate at DHL, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of warehouse activities. This includes receiving, storing, and shipping goods, as well as maintaining accurate records and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Warehouse Associate Key Accountabilities: ? Receiving and Inspecting: Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, ensuring that goods meet quality standards. ? Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all items are stored properly and can be easily retrieved. ? Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped. ? Shipping: Prepare and verify shipping documents, and ensure orders are correctly labeled and ready for dispatch. ? Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area; adhere to all safety and operational policies and procedures. ? Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner. ? Documentation: Accurately record inventory transactions and maintain up-to-date records of stock levels. ? Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily operational goals and ensure smooth workflow. Required Education and Experience: ? Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred. ? Experience: ? Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred. ? Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus. ? Skills: ? Basic computer skills are required. ? Ability to lift and carry up to 50-75 pounds. ? Ability to stand for extended periods. ? Strong attention to detail and accuracy. ? Good communication and teamwork skills.
