Role Overview: The Lead Manufacturing Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of production processes and products. This is a customer-facing role with ownership of quality assurance of products, services, and manufacturing processes, including conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, customer audits, etc. Roles and Responsibilities: ? Lead and manage quality assurance activities within the production environment. ? Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures. ? Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and products. ? Identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner. ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. ? Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. ? Train and mentor production staff on quality standards and best practices. ? Analyze quality data and generate reports to track performance and identify trends. ? Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes. ? Support new product development and introduction by providing quality input and oversight. Required Qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Quality) ? Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Quality Preferred Qualifications: ? Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or Continuous Improvement ? Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools ? Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100 ? Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. ? Strong leadership and team management abilities ? Effective communication and interpersonal skills ? Proficiency in using quality inspection equipment and software ? Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma) This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
