Junior Security IT Operations Associate

Remote role Full-time Open position

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Security IT Operations Associate to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic environment, contributing to the smooth and secure operation of our IT infrastructure. We are looking for individuals who are eager to embrace AI technologies and apply them to IT operations and security challenges. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of IT principles, a strong interest in security, and a passion for leveraging AI to improve processes.

Responsibilities

Support functional teams within the IT Operations division, collaborating with team leaders to ensure seamless and efficient IT operations that support all business units.

Participate in vendor management and resource allocation planning within the IT Operations division, under the guidance of division leaders.

Contribute to aligning team goals with corporate business objectives, following management directives and maintaining a security-conscious approach.

Assist in the global standardization of IT operations and service delivery, working with regional team leaders to harmonize processes and practices.

Assist in tracking and reporting inventory status and IT Operations-related projects, under the guidance of senior personnel.

Serve as a point of contact for escalating IT Operations issues impacting different business units.

Embrace and explore opportunities to apply AI tools and techniques to enhance IT operational efficiency and security. This includes a willingness to learn about and experiment with AI-driven solutions.

Provide occasional after-hours support for critical IT Operations issues, under the guidance of senior personnel.

As you demonstrate maturity and readiness, you will have the opportunity to contribute to further security-focused projects and initiatives, expanding your responsibilities and expertise.

Requirements

Foundational knowledge of networks and cloud computing.

Strong interest in IT security and a desire to learn about security best practices.

Eagerness to learn about and apply AI tools and technologies to IT operations and security.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving1 aptitude.

BSc/BA in IT or a relevant field.

Fresh graduates and those with some work experience are encouraged to apply.
