VIRTUAL K-12 School Psychologist Position in South Carolina Virtual School Psychologist Position: Virtual School Psychologist Location: South Carolina (Remote) Start Date: January 2025 Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Platform: Zoom Schools Served: Public and Charter Schools Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team in providing virtual support to students, families, and educators in South Carolina public and charter schools. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact on students' academic and emotional well-being. Services will be delivered through the Zoom platform. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development. • Provide individual and group counseling sessions for students. • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans. • Offer consultation and training to school staff to address students' behavioral and emotional needs. • Participate in virtual meetings, including IEP and intervention team meetings. • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of services provided. Qualifications: • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution. • Current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in South Carolina. • Minimum of two years of experience working in a school setting (virtual experience preferred). • Proficiency with virtual communication platforms, particularly Zoom. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
