Job Description

As a Live Chat Agent at Delta Airlines, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective customer support through our online chat platform. You will assist customers with inquiries related to flight bookings, baggage policies, travel restrictions, and other airline services. Your ability to communicate clearly and empathetically will ensure that our customers have a positive experience with Delta Airlines.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via live chat, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate information regarding flight schedules, ticket prices, and travel policies.
  • Assist customers with booking changes, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Resolve customer complaints efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Delta Airlines’ products, services, and promotions.
  • Document customer interactions and feedback to improve service delivery.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the airline or travel industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using chat software and other customer support tools.
  • Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
