Salary Range $21.63 - $32.45 per hour Position Summary You'll be a subject-matter expert contributing to the assessment process. Your expertise and professionalism will ensure accurate evaluations aligned with program standards. Crafting personalized feedback, you'll support students in their journey towards competency and academic progress. Collaboration within our team is key as we strive to meet student expectations for timely and helpful evaluations. Essential Functions And Responsibilities Analyze and evaluate student responses to assessment prompts to determine competency. Adhere to university policies in scoring and provide constructive feedback to aid student development. Collaborate on initiatives to enhance student success and evaluation processes. Uphold the integrity and effectiveness of evaluations, ensuring each student's experience is positive and impactful. Resolve student concerns or inquiries with empathy and professionalism. Work independently while contributing to team objectives and maintaining accuracy and efficiency in evaluation processes. Knowledge And Abilities Subject matter expertise and relevant advanced degree(s)/credential(s) in the education field. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to discern evidence of competency within student submissions. Proficiency in technology and adaptability to new processes. Collaborative mindset with a commitment to validity and reliability in evaluation. Problem-solving skills with a focus on future-oriented solutions. Interpersonal skills fostering respect, empathy, and open communication. Reliability and accountability in fulfilling commitments and maintaining integrity. Initiative and self-motivation in driving personal and organizational growth.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Education or related field, with applicable licenses or certifications. Minimum of five (5) years of recent professional work experience in a relevant field. Demonstrated subject matter expertise in the education domain.
Preferred Qualifications
Terminal degree and relevant licenses or certifications. Experience in supporting students through tiered intervention. Strong background in distance education and online evaluation.
