Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality wound care to patients with various wound types, including burn and wound-ostomy cases
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to ensure optimal wound healing outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on wound care best practices and prevention strategies
• Stay up-to-date with the latest wound care research, technologies, and treatment modalities
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

• RN Diploma degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey
• Experience in wound care, burn care, or related field
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Burn and Wound-Ostomy certification
• Experience working in an academic medical center or Level 1 trauma center
• Magnet recognition experience
• Previous experience with electronic medical records (EMRs)
