If you are a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in transforming complex information into reliable, well-structured databases, this is your opportunity to join a company that truly values the meticulous work you do.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a meticulous and technologically adept Data Entry Specialist to join the arenaflex team in a fully remote capacity. This is a pivotal role for someone who understands that data accuracy is not just a checkbox but the backbone of operational success. In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing, organizing, and managing data from various source files, including technical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and design schematics, to ensure the integrity and completeness of our digital asset inventory.

Your strong organizational abilities and exceptional attention to detail will be essential in maintaining the accuracy of our databases, supporting the design and engineering teams, and ensuring that critical information is always accessible when needed. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, independent work environment while remaining deeply connected to a collaborative remote team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaboration with Design Teams: Work closely with design drafters, engineers, and management personnel to guarantee that all drawings, diagrams, and design files accurately represent the corresponding machinery, equipment, and physical assets, and incorporate any necessary updates or revisions in a timely manner.
  • Digital Asset Library Management: Organize, categorize, and sustain a comprehensive library of design files and digital assets, ensuring that information is stored in a logical structure that allows for efficient retrieval, version control, and future revisions by team members across the organization.
  • Data Retrieval and Entry: Retrieve and input data from designated source files, ensuring prompt and accurate mapping of information into structured databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel and similar data management tools.
  • Detailed Information Recording: Enter vital tracking information including Store Number, QR Code, MDM Asset ID, Tag ID, and Aisle Location, adhering to strict accuracy standards and company protocols for every data point captured.
  • Data Investigation and Search: Conduct thorough searches for pertinent digital asset inventory data, investigate file contents as required, and cross-reference multiple sources to ensure consistency and completeness of all records.
  • Database Backup and Maintenance: Perform routine database backups following established procedures to uphold data integrity, prevent loss, and ensure business continuity in all circumstances.
  • Quality Assurance and Error Detection: Scrutinize all entered data for deficiencies, inconsistencies, or errors, making corrections as needed and ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs that meet or exceed arenaflex standards.
  • Process Documentation: Contribute to the development and refinement of standard operating procedures, helping the team build more efficient workflows and maintain consistency across all data management activities.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, candidates must demonstrate a combination of practical experience and proven skills. The following qualifications are required:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in data mapping, data entry, or related digital asset management roles.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create, navigate, and manage complex spreadsheets, formulas, and data structures.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with exceptional organizational skills, with a track record of producing error-free work.
  • Proficiency in various technologies and digital platforms, with an aptitude for swiftly learning new systems, software applications, and internal tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong multitasking skills, with the proven ability to manage multiple applications, files, and data sources simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency.
  • Self-motivation and discipline to thrive in a fully remote work environment, with minimal need for direct supervision.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace conducive to focused data work.

Preferred Qualifications

While not strictly required, the following qualifications will distinguish exceptional candidates and may lead to faster advancement within the arenaflex team:

  • Prior experience working with technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, or design schematics.
  • Familiarity with QR code systems, asset tracking software, or MDM (Mobile Device Management) platforms.

  • Basic understanding of database management principles, including data backup procedures and version control.
