We are now expanding our distributed workforce and seeking a dedicated Remote Data Entry Specialist who will play a pivotal role in supporting cloud infrastructure engagements, documenting technical architectures, and maintaining the high standards of data accuracy that our clients depend upon.

Position Overview

The Remote Data Entry Specialist – Cloud Infrastructure Solutions & Technical Client Engagement at arenaflex is a hybrid role combining meticulous data management with exposure to enterprise cloud architecture, client-facing communication, and technical documentation. You will collaborate closely with sales engineers, solution architects, product marketing teams, and customer success managers to ensure that client requirements are captured accurately, technical proposals are well-documented, and data workflows are seamlessly maintained. Your contributions will directly impact the ability of arenaflex to deliver exceptional cloud-native solutions across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Data Lifecycle Management: Support regional business teams throughout the full data lifecycle, from initial capture to final reporting, ensuring all client information is accurately entered, maintained, and updated within arenaflex systems.
  • Requirements Gathering Support: Identify and document business and technical requirements from client interactions, conduct comprehensive technical discovery sessions, and translate findings into structured data entries and solution designs.
  • Technical Project Coordination: Assist in driving key technical initiatives including technology promotion, proposal responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept documentation, and coordination of supporting technical resources.
  • Cloud Platform Demonstrations: Work hands-on with arenaflex Cloud Platform products to model integrations in client and partner environments, prepare demonstration environments, and document outcomes for stakeholder review.
  • Presentation and Documentation: Prepare and deliver product knowledge content using whiteboards, slide presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, and Request for Information (RFI) response documents.
  • Virtualization and Cloud Structures Documentation: Maintain detailed records of virtualization and cloud-native structure engagements, including logs of client-facing interactions and support activities.
  • Big Data and Streaming Records: Document experiences with conventional logical distribution center arrangements, Big Data advancements, continuous streaming, performance enhancements, and scalability improvements.
  • Market Intelligence Entry: Capture and organize competitive intelligence related to distributed computing, cloud market dynamics, customer engagement patterns, and emerging industry trends.
  • Meeting and Workshop Participation: Attend virtual meetings, technical reviews, and on-site delivery activities as required, capturing minutes, action items, and follow-up documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with product marketing management and engineering teams to keep records current on industry trends and document product improvement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of four years of experience working with virtualization or cloud-native structures in a client-facing or technical support capacity.
  • Data Center Knowledge: Demonstrated experience with conventional logical data center arrangements, Big Data technologies, real-time streaming, performance tuning, and scalability optimizations.
  • Cloud Computing Familiarity: Working knowledge of distributed computing concepts including cloud marketplaces, competitive dynamics, and the ability to perform technical presentations or public speaking engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Architecture and Design Experience: Hands-on experience with architecture design, implementation, tuning, schema design, and query optimization for scalable distributed systems.
  • Consulting Background: Prior experience in technical business or professional consulting focused on distributed computing, data analytics, and Big Data solutions.
  • Data Warehousing Expertise: Practical experience building data warehouses, data lakes, batch and real-time event processing pipelines, streaming architectures, ETL/ELT workflows, data migrations, data visualization tools, and data governance frameworks on cloud-native platforms.
  • Market Understanding: Strong grasp of distributed computing, cloud marketplaces, customer engagement models, and client purchasing behavior patterns.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to comprehend complex client requirements, decompose them into actionable technical specifications, and design appropriate solutions.

Essential Skills and Competencies

  • Data Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision when entering, reviewing, and maintaining large volumes of technical and client information.
  • Technical Writing: Ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured technical documentation including reports, white papers, and RFI responses.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Cloud Platform Proficiency: Familiarity with major cloud platforms and tools, including the ability to learn arenaflex Cloud Platform products quickly.
  • Big Data Toolset: Working knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and related Big Data technologies is highly desirable.
  • Visualization Tools: Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a remote environment.
