In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and authorizing complex mechanical and electronic repair claims submitted by our dealer network. You will serve as the technical bridge between dealership workshops and corporate standards, ensuring economic repair efficiency, adherence to warranty policies, and accurate technical assessments.

Key Responsibilities

Review and evaluate dealer repair requests, pre-authorization claims, and warranty submissions to determine technical and economic validity. Apply deep mechanical and electronic diagnostic knowledge to verify repair methods, evaluate repair cycles, and assess cost efficiency. Ensure all claims strictly adhere to corporate warranty policies, guidelines, and workshop procedures. Utilize and reference technical documentation, including workshop manuals, Service News, campaigns, and Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) to validate claims. Act as a primary point of contact for dealership workshops, providing clear guidance on authorization decisions and fostering strong professional relationships. Support warranty audits and contribute to the optimization of aftersales processes and workshop workflows.

Qualifications

Preferred: Degree in Engineering from Technical University. Alternative: Mechanical Certification (typically 3–5 years of technical schooling combined with hands-on workshop experience). Expert Technician: Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on automotive diagnostic and repair experience (preferred). Specialized Experience: Strong, proven experience in claim assessment, pre-authorization, or warranty auditing is highly appreciated. Advanced Diagnostics: Deep knowledge of both mechanical and electronic vehicle diagnostics. Repair Mechanics: Thorough understanding of repair cycles, workshop methods, and the economic evaluation of repairs (determining repair capability vs. replacement costs). Industry Processes: Robust knowledge of dealership workshop operations and corporate aftersales processes. Documentation: Highly proficient in navigating technical documentation (Manuals, TSBs, Campaigns). IT Skills: PC literate and comfortable adapting to claim management and diagnostic software. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and maintain relations with dealer networks. Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail with the ability to make objective, data-driven decisions regarding claim approvals.
