[Remote] Head of Tech Marketing
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Growth Partner is a leader in AI service provider enablement, primarily serving the US market. They are seeking a Marketing Technology & Automation Specialist to bridge the gap between creative marketing and technical execution, ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of marketing funnels and systems. This role requires a technical operator who can independently manage tracking, reporting, and automation processes without supervision.
Responsibilities
- Tracking & attribution — implement and maintain pixels and conversion tracking (Meta pixel + Conversions API, GA4/GTM, or equivalent); own UTM conventions; debug discrepancies between ad platforms, the CRM (Close), and payments (Whop/Stripe) end-to-end
- Reporting — build and maintain funnel and campaign dashboards; guarantee the numbers are right; investigate anomalies before anyone has to ask
- Funnel pages — build and edit landing pages, VSL pages, opt-in and booking flows in our page builders; implement forms, redirects, and A/B tests correctly (including tracking)
- Automations — design and build n8n workflows connecting forms, Close CRM, Slack, Google Sheets, and our email platform; webhooks, API integrations, error handling
- Email systems — set up email sequences and triggers in the ESP; manage list hygiene, exit conditions, and deliverability basics; QA before anything goes live
- AI leverage — use AI tools (Claude, GPT, agents) aggressively to move faster on all of the above; build AI-powered steps into workflows where they add value
- Future scope — potential growth into managing marketing VAs / owning marketing technology as a function. Not required on day one; excellence at the above comes first
Skills
- 2+ years in marketing ops / technical marketing / automation work — or a portfolio that proves equivalent ability
- Hands-on depth in a workflow automation tool. n8n strongly preferred; Make/Zapier acceptable only with demonstrated complex builds (branching, error handling, API calls — not 3-step zaps)
- Has personally implemented and debugged conversion tracking (e.g., Meta pixel + CAPI, GTM/GA4) — can tell a specific war story about a numbers mismatch they ran to ground
- Has built multi-step email sequences in a major ESP, including triggers and exit conditions
- Comfortable with APIs, webhooks, and JSON. Basic scripting (HTML/Javascript/Python) is a strong plus, though you do not need to be a professional coder
- Daily AI-tool user. Bonus: has built agentic workflows or used AI coding tools to ship automations
- Experience with Close CRM, Whop/Stripe, and GTM server-side tagging
- Familiarity with info-product or coaching-industry funnels
- Prior experience directing VAs
- Exposure to ad platforms (FB Ads Manager, Google Ads) from a technical setup perspective
