[Remote] Sales Auditor

Remote role Full-time Open position

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AptivaCorp is involved in accounting and finance, specifically focusing on sales audit and cash processing. They are seeking a Sales Auditor to manage daily transaction reconciliations, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with internal controls while supporting Luxottica North America.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily transaction reconciliation for cash, gift card, and credit card store deposit receivable accounts
  • Books monthly journal entries relating to Sales Audit accounts
  • Prepares schedules and reports as requested to support management and audit requests
  • Responds to store, field, and Cincinnati Service Center partner inquiries in a timely and courteous manner utilizing effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Researches and resolves issues and any escalated issues in a timely manner
  • Maintains continuous improvement mindset and proactively identifies, reviews and implements process improvements
  • Complies with established department and company internal controls
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and assists with special projects as needed or directed
  • Internally communicates, oral & written, with the Cincinnati Service Center (primarily Operations, Asset Protection, POSDM/IT, and Brand Partners), store associates, and field personnel
  • Maintains proficient knowledge and utilization of systems and software within area of responsibility
  • Prioritizes work, seeking guidance from Manager as needed
  • Externally communicates with bank and credit card/gift card processor contacts
  • Escalates issues to Manager in a timely manner

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to adapt to shifting and competing priorities
  • Ability to analyze problems, to compile data, to determine facts and reach a logical conclusion
  • Constructively challenges the process and takes the initiative to search for opportunities to grow, improve and innovate
  • Strong time management, organizational and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and deadline-oriented
