[Remote] National Sales Manager

Remote role Full-time Open position

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dixon Valve is a global, family-owned manufacturing company with over 100 years of operation in the U.S.A. They are seeking a National Sales Manager to lead and develop the outside sales team, drive revenue growth, and analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute national sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of regional sales representatives to enhance performance and achieve sales goals
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners across the country
  • Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management
  • Collaborate with advertising and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with product offerings and market needs
  • Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies to adjust sales approaches as needed
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Set clear performance expectations, development objectives and accountability standards for sales personnel

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive sales experience including 5+ years of experience in sales management, specifically within the manufacturing industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth on a national scale
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing sales teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel frequently as necessary to meet with clients and team members (approx. 50% travel)
