Position Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable, focused, and detail-oriented Part-Time Remote Data Entry Specialist to help us maintain and enhance our client databases. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for entering new and updated customer and account information, verifying the accuracy of existing records, and ensuring that our data remains a trusted resource for our clients and internal teams alike.

This is a part-time, fully remote position with flexible working hours, making it an excellent opportunity for students, parents, freelancers, or anyone seeking meaningful work with a balanced schedule. You will be paid a competitive hourly rate of $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Accurate Data Input: Enter customer, account, and transactional data from source documents into our proprietary systems within established time limits, ensuring a high level of accuracy with every keystroke.
  • Data Verification and Compilation: Compile, verify, and sort information to prepare source data for computer entry. Cross-check entries against source documents to confirm accuracy and completeness.
  • Error Detection and Correction: Review entered data for deficiencies, inconsistencies, or errors, and correct any incompatibilities whenever possible. Flag issues that require escalation to senior team members.
  • Software Proficiency: Use a variety of data management software and tools to input, edit, save, back up, and retrieve data efficiently. Maintain working knowledge of all relevant platforms used at arenaflex.
  • Confidentiality and Security: Maintain the strict confidentiality and security of all client and company information, adhering to arenaflex's data protection policies and applicable regulations at all times.
  • Team Communication: Maintain regular communication with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional departments to coordinate data updates, share insights, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Meeting and Training Participation: Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and evolving tools.
  • Backup and Data Preservation: Ensure regular backups are performed to prevent data loss, and follow established protocols for data preservation and recovery.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry workflows, reduce errors, and improve overall efficiency within the data management process.
