[Remote] Sales Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Atrium is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing sales team in the generic drug pharmaceutical distribution sector. The role involves developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations while collaborating with internal teams to optimize processes and deliver exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of 3–5 experienced sales representatives
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across pharmacies, hospitals, and long-term care facilities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to inform strategy
- Implement and refine sales processes and best practices for efficiency and scalability
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and regulatory teams to support client needs
- Analyze sales data and prepare performance reports for senior leadership
- Forecast sales and establish performance targets for the team
Skills
- 5+ years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or distribution
- 3+ years of management experience within pharmaceutical sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products and distribution channels
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA guidelines, drug supply chain standards)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field
- Experience managing a portfolio of inside sales representatives with significant revenue responsibility
- Strategic thinking and business development expertise
- Strong data analysis and forecasting skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and maintain a positive, collaborative mindset
- Knowledge of generic drugs, vaccines, and injectable markets
