[Remote] Biocompatibility Technical Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SGS Consulting is seeking a Biocompatibility Technical Project Manager who will manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The role involves engaging with cross-functional partners and suppliers to drive material selection and biocompatibility testing during the product development process.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Partner with cross functional team members, and suppliers to drive selection of biocompatible materials, sample coordination, and coordinate testing throughout product development process
- Good understanding of analytical testing methods (HPLC, ICPMS, LC/MS, GS/MS) and basic knowledge of Biocompatibility review
- Clear and effective communication (including presentations, document traceability etc.) of Biocompatibility goals and findings with cross functional team and leadership
- Demonstrated experience in program management and basic knowledge of Biocompatibility review
- Manage and track analytical testing results and biocompatibility assessment and setup a process to track and communicate efficiently
- Ability to prioritize programs and issues to meet timelines within a fast-paced environment
- Engage with biocompatibility experts and cross functional teams towards building workflows, processes, and SOP’s
- Partner with cross functional team members and suppliers to drive selection of biocompatible materials, sample coordination and coordinate testing throughout product development process
Skills
- BS or MS in Toxicology, Biomedical science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- 2+ years of project management in a corporate setting
- Experience managing multiple complex projects successfully and ability to prioritize issues/projects effectively
- Basic understanding of biocompatibility and analytical chemistry
- Ability to work in fast paced, collaborative, cross functional environment
- Be a team player
- Have strong analytical skills and ability to think outside of the box
- Must have program management, clear communication, and consumer electronics experience
- Experience with bio-comp and customer safety
