Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who is proficient in QuickBooks Online and has a passion for delivering high-quality financial services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 10-20 clients, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and providing exceptional support to our clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct bank account and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
  • Perform bookkeeping reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
  • Track and pay bills/loans, collect and manage invoices, and file 1099 forms in a timely and efficient manner
  • Calculate and collect sales tax, handle payroll filing and reporting, and maintain financial transaction spreadsheets
  • Submit detailed daily reports to your supervisor and keep accurate time logs for each client
  • Use internal software to document completed client work and perform other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1-3 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
  • 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience with multiple small businesses, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to clients and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience as an Accountant or Staff Accountant, with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices
  • In-house training or certification in bookkeeping or accounting, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Experience working with multiple clients or customers, with a strong ability to build relationships and provide exceptional customer service
