  • * Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • * Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
  • * Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • * Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on outstanding payments.
  • * Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • * Collaborate with clients to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.
  • * Assist with tax preparation and filing by organizing and providing necessary documentation.
  • * Stay up to date with accounting software, industry trends, and any changes in financial regulations.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • * Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
  • * Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • * Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • * Good communication skills to work effectively with clients remotely.
  • * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • * Basic knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and payroll practices.
  • Experience:
  • * Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • * Experience working remotely is a plus.
  • * Knowledge of Malaysian accounting and tax regulations is highly desirable.
  • Working Hours:
  • * Flexible working hours, with a commitment of approximately 20-30 hours per week.
  • * Work from the comfort of your home, with no fixed office hours.
  • * Must be available to meet client deadlines and communicate during business hours.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • * Expertise in bookkeeping and accounting principles.
