[Remote] Digital Marketing Account Manager (Remote | Full-Time)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Marketing Done Right is a digital marketing agency providing a range of services including SEO and Google Ads. They are seeking a Digital Marketing Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and campaign performance management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a defined book of assigned clients across SEO, Google Ads, and digital marketing services
- Lead client calls with confidence, providing clear context on campaign performance, strategy rationale, and next steps without defaulting to "I'll find out and get back to you"
- Review campaign performance proactively and surface problems before clients do
- Hold SEO strategists and Google Ads managers accountable to client deliverables and flag delivery gaps through proper internal channels
- Manage client onboarding during the first 30 to 60 days, setting expectations clearly and building trust early
- Maintain accurate task statuses and client communication logs in Asana within 24 hours
- Identify upsell and upgrade opportunities where additional services genuinely serve the client's growth
- Relay website, design, and content feedback between clients and internal teams
- Contribute to process improvements that make the client experience more consistent
Skills
- 3 or more years of account management experience at a digital marketing agency
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and Google Ads is sufficient to hold a substantive conversation with a client about what is working and why
- Strong communicator who gives clients direct answers and owns the conversation rather than deflecting
- Comfortable managing multiple clients and priorities simultaneously without losing the details
- Proficient in Asana and Slack or equivalent project management and communication tools
- Professional, approachable, and able to represent MDR's standards without supervision
- Able to work independently in a fully remote environment
