[Remote] Electrical Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Entegee is seeking an Electrical Engineer for remote positions to work on projects involving the engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities. The role includes providing design work, collaborating with a multi-discipline team, and managing quality, scope, budget, and schedule for various projects.
Responsibilities
- Work on projects including engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities
- Provide design work, contribute to team technical collaboration, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist directly with other portions of the design process
- Work closely with the broader multi-discipline team in a fast paced, dynamic, collaborative environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents
- Engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities
- Design may also include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate our clients’ continually evolving requirements
- Additional responsibilities may include the management of quality, scope, budget and schedule
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 6 plus years experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution including conveyance
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design
- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
- Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
- Good computer literacy
- Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges
- Ability to lead a team of Electrical Engineers
- Experience with Data Center or AI Factory projects
- At least 3 years of data center facility design experience
