[Remote] Data Governance Analyst V

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TheCorporate is seeking a Data Governance Analyst V to execute stewardship work and ensure data quality within the organization. The role involves collaboration with business and technical stewards to maintain metadata and validate data lineage, while also addressing data quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Executes defined stewardship work under the direction of Business Data Stewards (BDS are matrixed roles to this effort), including:
• Metadata definition and maintenance (business definitions, attributes, standards)
• Review and validation of data profiling results
• Identification of data quality issues and root causes
• Planning for and eventual execution of approved remediation activities
• Provides business usage context for datasets, including creation, consumption, and dependency insights
• Supports Planning‑for‑Control readiness by ensuring required metadata, rules, and checks are complete
• Collaborates with Technical Stewards and System Owners to validate lineage and system behavior
• Escalates risks or gaps that could prevent datasets from achieving required maturity

Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience
