[Remote] Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Engineer who can provide end-to-end solutions in a fast, agile environment. The role involves developing software and systems, identifying improvements, and helping clients overcome challenges using the latest technologies.
Responsibilities
- Resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment
- Develop software and systems from vision to production-ready
- Use passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements
- Help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies
- Ensure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements
Skills
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, VueJS, PostgreSQL, or PLSQL
- Experience with Git or Jira
- Knowledge of web application development
- Knowledge of web services and client development
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud development
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized applications
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Associate's degree in a STEM field
- Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 3 months of start date
- Experience with Apache Maven
- Experience with Apache TomEE or Tomcat
- Experience with unit testing or other automated testing methods and tools
- Experience with AWS Cloud development
- Knowledge of Jenkins
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and processes
- Bachelor's degree
