Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, registering sales on assigned cash registers, and providing customers with courteous, friendly, and efficient service. You'll be the go-to person for answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations to customers. Key Responsibilities

* Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services

  • Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
  • Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service
  • Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items
  • Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested
  • Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
  • Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records
  • Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader
  • Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss
  • Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products)
  • Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
  • Assist with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
  • Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine
  • Assume web pick-up responsibilities (monitors orders in Picture Care Plus, fills orders, and delivers orders to customers)
  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers

Essential Qualifications

* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)

  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred

  • Prior work experience with arenaflex preferred
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) preferred
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Skills and Competencies

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Basic knowledge of store systems and store equipment
