Experienced Customer Service Representative – Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy (Remote)

Our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team is a critical component of this mission, and we're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a critical member of our team, you will provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy, ensuring seamless coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Representative on our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing telephone support to patients, verifying and resolving benefits, and processing new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system.
  • Communicating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues.
  • Utilizing superb communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners, ensuring timely processing of specialty medications and meeting financial and clinical expectations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: ### Essential Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in a customer service role handling complex customer needs over the phone.
  • 1+ year of experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
  • 1+ year of computer keyboarding experience.
  • Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.

### Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of experience resolving complex customer needs over the phone.
  • Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.

Schedule and Benefits:

As a Customer Service Representative on our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, you can expect:

  • A Monday - Friday schedule, with hours of operation from 11 AM - 7:30 PM EST.
  • A competitive salary of $22.00 - $36.00 per hour.
