Responsibilities:

As an Online Chat Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for handling incoming customer support questions and sales-related queries via live chat, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. This is a contract position with flexible working arrangements, allowing you to choose your own schedule and work at least 10 hours per week.

  • Respond to customer inquiries via live chat on businesses' websites and social media accounts
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and answering questions in a timely and professional manner
  • Work independently, following provided instructions and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in customer support
  • Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

As an Online Chat Representative, you will be measured on the following KPIs:

  • First Response Time (FRT): Respond to customer inquiries within 30 seconds
  • Resolution Rate: Resolve customer issues within 1 hour
  • Customer Satisfaction (CSAT): Achieve a CSAT score of 90% or higher
  • Quality of Service (QoS): Maintain a QoS score of 95% or higher

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Device (phone, tablet, or laptop) capable of accessing social media and website chat functions
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Minimum availability of 10+ hours per week
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions closely
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
